Humaana Signs To Panic
January 12th, 2012
I'm very excited to tell you about a well kept secret that's been buried beneath the snow for a little too long, Humaana.
The cold months of Bostons chill, layering on sweaters and jackets can only keep you so warm. The warmth of a nice studio, adding
layers of instruments and producing music that warms you on the inside can be just as much of a necessity to make it through those freezing
times. That's just what the members of Humaana had in mind when forming as a studio project in the Fall of 2009. It was also way to keep the
members of Humaanas' sanity during Bostons Winter months.
Bassist Aaron Bernard and drummer Tim Manning had been playing music together for years in their previous band Late Nite Wars and had recorded
all of their releases at Format Audio by engineer Ryan Stack. After establishing a friendship with Ryan, Humaana was formed with a goal to write
and record as much material as possible without any genre constraints.
Bands like Karate, The Police, Phoenix and The Kinks have laid the maps in front of Humaana as guiddance for thier sound. Humaana serves as
an outlet for it's members to play music closer to those influences while taking a new path to explore themselves.
Having been friends with Aaron and Ryan, I accidentally stumbled upon Humaana and was into it from the first listen. I couldn't believe that
the two of them never told anyone about what they had been doing behind closed doors...I guess that's their business. But they could have at least
told me that they were doing a band too. Humaana is great indie rock and I'm excited that Panic Records gets to be a part of it.
Comfort was written and recorded in the Fall of 2010 between a series of long breaks due to careers and touring. Comprised of a collection of
songs that had been heavily refined until finally ending up on Comfort. Humaanas Comfort EP will appeal to any fan of indie music and in need of
the warmth only provided by a great song. Comfort will see the light of day on Vinyl, CD and Digital formats February 28th via Panic Records.
Humaana are streaming the first track, Passing Parade, from the Comfort EP now on their Facebook page.

Heartwell Signs To Panic
December 22nd, 2011
People usually ask “how do you find the bands on Panic?” My answer is usually “people tell me about them.”
People are ALWAYS telling me to check out their band or their friends’ bands. The people I listen to the
most are the people that are a part of the family; I trust their opinions over all others.
The Pentidudes wouldn’t shut up about this band Heartwell and how awesome they were and how they
were the best dudes and blah, blah, blah, blah. Being that Pentimento are some of the best dudes,
they’re pretty good at assessing dudes (I mean good dudes), so I finally gave in and checked out Heartwell.
I grabbed up Heartwells “On Science, On Strings” EP from their Bandcamp page (you should do the same) and
began rocking that EP every day. Becoming almost obsessed I turned listening to “On Science, On Strings”
into a daily listening ritual. I couldn’t get enough of it and a day didn’t feel complete unless I was reassured
that “everything’s gonna be alright from now on” which is the closing chorus from the EP. From beginning to end,
the EP is solid and worth repeat plays. I knew I should put the moves on Heartwell.
Once talks began with Heartwell, it was pretty much a given that they should be a part of the family. Good dudes, playing
good music? That’s what this is all about. No pretention and no outlandish expectations. Heartwell are sincere dudes doing
their things and doing it well.
The Panic family continues to grow and Heartwell are a part of it all now. I’m happy to welcome them into our
home and I’m looking forward to what 2012 will bring for Heartwell.
Go listen to their EP right now on Facebook and then give them one of those thumbs up things to keep up on what
they’ll have coming up. http://www.facebook.com/HeartwellNJ
Pentimento Signs To Panic
June 7th, 2011
It's always a great feeling to come across new music that gets you excited and gives you the craving
to throw it on at any chance that you get. Last month I came across a band called Pentimento and
started listening to them on a daily basis. It's an even greater feeling when you get in touch with
a band to tell them how much you like their band and they come back with a positive attitude and a
modest response. I think Panic Records is lucky in the fact that, in my opinion, all of the bands
that make up Panic Records are full of the greatest people. Pentimento fits in perfectly with this
family and I'm really excited to make this announcement and welcome them to this thing of ours.
While staying true to the roots and influences of their upbringing, what sets Pentimento apart is
the sheer honesty and authenticity you take way when listening to their music. The goal of
Pentimento has always been to create passionate music that they could share with others and
have the listener feel and connect with on a personal level.
Pentimento's process of writing and recording their newest EP Wrecked was to weed out any possibility
of artificial factors or "studio magic". The goal was to bring the most genuine and real instance to
the listener with the hopes that the same experience that is put across live, comes through on their
recordings. Pentimentos' Wrecked has achieved that goal and surpassed it with one of the most honest
EPs to come out this year. Panic Records is proud to release Wrecked on CD and Digital formats on July
19th, 2011 with the Vinyl version to follow shortly after.
Stream Wrecked in it's entirety now on Pentimentos Facebook Page. While you're at it, "Like" them!
First Ever Panic Records Showcase
January 15th, 2011
I'm really excited to tell you about the first ever Panic Records Showcase that will take
place on May 27th, 2010 in Seattle, WA at Neumos!
The Panic family is big and always growing. Initially I wanted to have every single Panic band
play, logistics made it impossible for that to happen. So...the bands that will be a part of the
first ever Panic Records Showcase are : All Teeth, Run With The Hunted, Wait In Vain, Make Do And Mend,
Another Breath and Trial. All bands on Panic are a huge part of the labels survival and I'm really
humbled to have these bands share in the showcase to celebrate what we have all built together.
Rain Fest has graciously included the Panic Records Showcase as a part of this years fest and we are
just as excited to be a part of Rain Fest. The Panic Showcase will take place on the first day, Friday
May 27th. The remaining bands for Friday as well as tickets will be announced shortly.

All Teeth "Young Love" Preorders Up Now
December 14th, 2010
We are now taking preorders for the new All Teeth EP, "Young Love".
I've been jamming this record since the Summer and it still maintains my excitement each and every
time I put it on. By far one of my favorite records that will come out next year. All other hardcore
bands are going to have a tough time topping this release in 2011.
I know, you thought the record was going to be out this year, the release date got pushed back. The
woes of doing vinyl in this age means that there's no guarantee of when vinyl will actually be
finished. We're at the mercy of the pressing plant and that means that the official release date
will be January 18th. We do expect to start shipping these before that date though.
We're doing a special screen printed b-side for these. Couple different preorder packages for Young
Love are up right now. All vinyl orders will come with a limited edition zine by Sammy Winston who
also does spoken word on the Young Love EP. The zine is an accompanying piece to his part on the All
Teeth "Young Love" record. Hit up www.panicrecords.net/estore
to get in on the preorders now.
If you're anywhere close (within 12 hours driving) to Santa Rosa or Stockton on January 7th and 8th,
make the trip out to the Young Love record release shows with Ceremony, Sabertooth Zombie, Dead To
Me and more. I'll be there, all the way from Seattle. What will be your excuse? No excuse. Get full
details here
and here.
Here's to gloom kids, we stay alive inside our heads with nowhere to go.
The Anchor Boys Have Come To Party!
December 8th, 2010
Starting as a string plunking acoustic duo over the past two and a half years, The Anchor Boys
have truly come into their own. they made their place in the local scene as the very fast, super
melodic and most triumphant pop punk band. They knew they had something special when people would
hang late at shows and sing their hearts out while moving around. This isn't your older brothers
pop punk band. Don't expect Hurley t-shirts, chain wallets and lip piercings.
The Anchor Boys will out drink you, out eat you, beat you in NHL 11 and FIFA and then play music
as hard as they want. Always wriging new songs, designing their own merchandise, these Anchor Boys
reek of the DIY ethic stewed in awesomeness. The Anchor Boys are the monster that won't die, the
hipster you've grown to love and the prophetic tattooed hardcore dudes you can identify with. Give
one listen to The Anchor Boys and it's sure to be on repeat.
Always down for a good time, Panic Records have invited Philadephia's self proclaimed party machine,
The Anchor Boys to rage with the rest of the Panic Family. The Anchor Boys will release their debut
full length entitled "Devastator" in February 2011 on Panic Records. Check em out and give them that
thumbs up thing on Facebook.

of course I am beyond excited to have it as a part of the Panic catalog. The new LP is solid from start to finish and gets me
reminds me of why I fell in love with hardcore in the first place. Challenging lyrics and driving music that keeps me hanging
on for the next riff. An overused word to describe it would be, incredible, and it is indeed that...incredible.

All Teeth Are A Part Of This Thing Of Ours
October 15th, 2010
It's Been a long time coming, it's now official, All Teeth have joined this thing of ours, Panic Records.
A long time coming is an understatement as All Teeth have been a band that Panic has been eagerly waiting to work with. Talks
began back in February when All Teeth rolled through on tour with Defeater and I was blown away. I was already into All Teeth
before hand and loved their LP "I Am Losing", but the new songs they played and the downsizing of members (2 vocalists down to
1 solid frontman, David Kelling) caught my attention and it was evident that All Teeth were well on their way to becoming one
of my favorite current hardcore bands. An important factor in being a part of Panic is that the people that make up the bands
are people I would hang out with on any day of the week, All Teeth are good people and ones that I know I will become great
friends with over time.
Being teased with the promise of new songs over months and months, waiting and waiting...finally I was given some jams to listen
to. Good things come to those who wait and good is also an understatement. All Teeths' first release on Panic will be their new
EP Young Love and it's incredible. 5 brand new songs that are miles above anything they've ever done and miles above anything
that most bands have done. Caught in between the Nerve Agents, Hope Conspiracy and American Nightmare, the songs on Young Love
gave me goosebumps upon first listen and repeated goosebumps with repeated listens. The lyrics are easy to connect and identify
with and the music is exactly what I would want to play myself. If you couldn't tell, I'm very excited to have All Teeth as a
part of the Panic Records family and I hope you will give them some love and attention too. All Teeth have put up
Caller ID from
Young Love on their Facebook
page to listen to, so listen to it and tell us (Panic and All Teeth) what you think.
All Teeth are heading out to the East Coast to hang and bang with Make Do And Mend, Defeater and Living With Lions for a quick tour
that includes a stop at this years Fest in Gainesville. Check the dates and then check that tour out if it's near you.

The Saddest Landscape Join Panic Records
September 15th, 2010
Since starting Panic Records in 2005 the intention was to release music from bands that appealed to my ears. If I can get down with it,
it belongs on Panic Records.
The Saddest Landscape are the newest addition to the Panic family and I am really happy to have them. It's not a huge departure of what
Panic has put out in the past because The Saddest Landscape are a part of the punk/hardcore scene that is my home. I was drawn to The
Saddest Landscapes sound as it's a throwback to the early-mid 90's emo that bands like Indian Summer, Ordination and Lincoln were rockin
at the time. A sound that I am thankful has made a resurgence and made relevant again by a new pack of bands like La Dispute, Touche Amore,
Pianos Become Teeth and of course The Saddest Landscape.
The Saddest Landscapes new LP "You Will Not Survive" is set to be released on September 28th and is being streamed exclusively on
Absolute Punk. Give it
a listen and get excited.
We have a couple preorder packages up right now, one of which comes with a live 7" limited to 100 copies. The first press of the vinyl is
already sold out and we're waiting on the second press of vinyl from the pressing plant. The first press went quick as it was only 300
copies, the only copies left are the ones that The Saddest Landscape will have this weekend for their record release shows in CT, NY
and NJ. Go see them and pick up this record and if you miss out, make sure to preorder now, the response has been incredible so far.
Casting Curses "Cold All Over Again" 7" Preorders Up Now
September 14th, 2010
We've launched the preorders for Casting Curses new 7" Cold All Over Again. In the usual Panic Records fashion
we've got the usual preorder packages available, one of which could get you a test press of the 7". This record
is well worth repeated spins on the turn table and at times has that BURN element going down that just can not
be stopped. When the tests showed up, it sounded even better than listening to the CD...gotta love vinyl.
All preorders will come with an instant download of When Everybody Loves You, the newest track from Cold
All Over Again and we're also streaming When Everybody Loves You and American Ignorance now on
the Casting Curses Myspace
and Panic Myspace pages.
Check out our webstore to
get in on the preorders. We're expecting to ship Cold All Over Again in early October.
Established in 2007, Casting Curses initially set out to spread their brand of heavy meets melodic Upstate New
York Hardcore while attending school together. Casting Curses new EP, Cold All Over Again is the culmination
of years of progress made possible by years of friendship. Bringing various elements to the table, Cold All
Over Again displays uniquely crafted songwriting that brings to mind 90's hardcore bands like BURN and 108.
